 Many Crown Victorias were used on this action movie, and all of them are police cruisers, more precisely State Troopers ones. And since I saw the movie premiere last night, I can tell there's another one driven by a Nebraska State Trooper, and when he chases the main character with his future British girlfriend, its rear axle comes off. And there are many CHP (California Highway Patrol Service) cruisers during the big race towards the end of the movie.

 The main character is driving a Ford Mustang am I right? So why did he need help evading the cops that are driving a Ford CVPI when most cars can leave it in the dust?

He provoked a chase with this one around one city block, to get his former friends attention and convince him to help him with the plan.

 Note the plastic sign on the hood that reads "stop" and the old school lights. This is very authentic as real Michigan state patrol cars have these.

 A Ford Crown Victoria in Michigan State Police design is one of the best looking police cars i have ever seen. So old school!
