From the other pictures shown of this vehicle, this is a Cougar 6x6 MRAP. It fits the profile and design of the ones we drive out here in Afghanistan. Some cosmetic differences are obviously noticable.

DARTZ designed the vehicle to resemble the Cougar MRAP, but it does not share anything besides the looks. 2 were made for the production, one as a star vehicle and the other one for stunts.

This is not DARTZ. The trucks made by the hungarian Szalay Dakar Team in Hungary from Zil-131 military trucks.

The Dartz company says that they built these trucks for the movie :??: Or was that vehicle made with local contract in Hungaria, as it was filmed there?

On the Dartz website i can find just an amateur video from MRAP. No build photos, no videos, nothing, On the Szalay Dakar Team website i can hire the made for movie truck.
I think it's pretty clear. The Dartz company is a liar.

Looks like that Matchbox rolamatic toy, "Badger": http://www.zig-d.co.uk/diecast/images/singles/e41_1.jpg . And since we`re in Russia, this would be a "Made For Movie" Ural Typhoon.

Hi Everyone,
Just needed to clear this up because it's killing me! it amazes me how people who had nothing to do with this are trying to take credit for it!

AFDEPLOYED you are sort of correct the vehicle (OR vehicles as there were actually 4 of them 2 stunt trunks 1 hero (pretty 1) and 1 jump trunk) are copies of the BAE SYSTEMS COUGAR 6X6 MRAP (MINE RESISTANT AMBUSH PROTECTED)vehicle
BUT as you noticed "Some cosmetic differences are obviously noticable" which are copied......ish from an Oshkosh like the windscreens and the dashboard for instance.

These trucks had to be copies, as the real Cougar starts at around 24 tons and around 9 feet/ 2.75 meters wide which would have been too heavy and too wide for the streets of Budapest.

Now this is important, DARTZ HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUILDING OF THESE TRUCKS WHAT SO EVER unless they were sneaking in at night when everyone had gone home don't think so some how!.

Churchill you are very close to being correct on this, the Szalay Dakar Team in Hungary did build 3 of these using Zil-131's as donor vehicles and the engines were zil Ural 8 litre blocks with zil 6 litre cylinder heads and a K jetronic fuel injection system bolted to it(very clever bunny at szalays workshop did that)the two stunt vehicles and the hero truck with the interior being finished in the studio not by Szalay Dakar.

The fourth (4th) trunk was built in the studio which was a scratch built tubular chassis running a 500hp DODGE RAM SRT 10 engine and gearbox oh and a Carbon fibre body shell this was built with only a little help from Szalay to source some parts and a couple of extra hands towards the end when time had run out.

Well I hope this clears up a few things and sorry for this info coming out so late after the film.

Apparently they started the project, but it was finished by the Hungarian team.
They said they will send more pictures later, when/if the NDA is finished.

God this pisses me off! I do and always will give credit where credit is due! the designer of these lighter narrower versions of the BAE Systems 6x6 cougar MRAP is a really nice great production designer called Dan Dorance, trust me I know I had the great pleasure of working with him on this project!
Check out my name in the films credits "MRAP Supervisor". First one with a correct answer can give them selves a pat on the back
