Could this be Canadian made 1967 Pontiac Laurentian? ![]() Another view at /vehicle_508900.html -- Last edit: 2012-06-14 13:29:59 |

Definitely '67 for the model year. |

The only sedan with posts I'm finding is the Catalina, but the ones I'm seeing have chrome molding on them. Not sure what this is, at least its American counterpart, as four door Bonnevilles were four door hardtops. |

This one has the clapper windscreen wipers and not the wide track wheels and lastly, it is the right hand drive version. ![]() |

As the location is NZ this car will be a Canadian-built but NZ-assembled Laurentian. 283 Hamilton-built Chevrolet V8 and powerglide and the same instrumnet panel as seen on previous models. One of about 100 sold in NZ that year. It still has its correct period registration plate. -- Last edit: 2012-06-14 22:56:28 |

Yes, the instrument panel is borrowed from the 1965 Chevrolet full size. It is too expensive to create a new right hand drive instrument panel for low volume production. An example from 1966 Pontiac Parisienne: http://www.flickr.com/photos/45904802@N08/6483566349/ -- Last edit: 2012-06-15 01:54:09 |
