Looks like it's based on a 1952 Dodge.

Yes, but the rear body looks small enough to be that of a Plymouth. That would make it a Dodge Kingsway Stationwagon.

Is this based on the export model?

Shouldn't this be a '53? Note one-piece windshield.

Cars like this Dodge Kingsway came also to Brazil. They were Plymouth but with Dodge and De Soto face lifting. I think that in the Forties, the importers in Latin America suggested to bring Plymouth-based cars and disguise them to best pricing brands in order to keep an easier to mantain and also stronger car platform.

In Brazil we have those cars from 1947 to 1951, Plymouth-based Dodge and De Soto. There were also 'real' Dodge and De Soto, but just a few as well Chrysler (all Chrysler were 'real'). I have a friend who is a Mopar fanatic and he has a short Plymouth-De Soto and also a longer one, real, both for 47.

After 52 I have never seen any similar fact.
