is D01 indicating Russia? Gamer if you have time can you look at some Russian built Sportages’ and see if their VINs begin with K? I think Kia manufactured the Sportage in South Korean then exported CKD kits to Russia, Pakistan, and Germany ? Or do German built ones have a German VIN? |

I wasn’t sure. Could be. I know Russia built Sportage with CKD kits from South Korean. Whether they kept the K derived Korean VINs, I am not certain. Normally CDKs have the code from the original manufacturer. I guess we will have to keep investigating knowing we have the VIN saved here.
