Sorry for my provocation, but just by the headlamps (RHD is not a criterion, as determinted here), we can classify all cars with British plates as "made for GB". Because they are different than for Continental Europe. As we classify cars as "made for F" just by lousy yellow bulbs in the headlamps, this would be really appropriate.  Some people will say "only visible details are accepted" we can be slightly nitpicking and add the "made for GB" only at cars, where the headlights are on at the time of the pic  |

You can see from the headlights that this is a UK version? Anyway your remark is pointless: we said that we did not include LHD/RHD changes because it is just mirroring and because it would be too much useless info to tag all cars with that. At older cars you can see it by the lenses and the position of the little bulb's shields. At newer cars, whith plastic lenses over the real lights, you can see it, when the lamps are on - the left light cone goes wider than the right |

If you take a closer looks to some specific models, you will see, that sometimes the conversion was a terrible cobblework. A friend, who worked for 31 years in the Volkswagen Passat-prototype-development-team, has told me, that RHD VW's, Audis and are worse than the LHDs. Because for making the RHD-version, they don't use mock-ups or own prototypes. They take a ready prototype and then they switch and cobble along, until it fits. So makeshifts all around. For the K 70 I can confirm that absolutely. Worst! I would never like to have one. |
