 No change listed by Glass's in late 98 to create a 99my. Linea Sol may not be an edition as such, but a bit of garbled plate info for a normal trim level in some markets - "Trim levels in the United Kingdom were T2, T3-S, T3-X, T4, T Spirit, T180 and the TR. There is also a special edition, based on the T2 called the Colour Collection. In Ireland, there were five trim levels – Terra, Aura, Strata, Luna, and Sol." - from wiki. As this is LHD it's not an Irish car, but presumably one sold somewhere which also used the Irish names.

 The correct name for the trim is 'Linea Sol' and please set the year as 1999. :)

 "Lineal sol"... in spanish means "line sun" or something similar. Interesting (?) the use of spanish words without any sense

 Toyota used Linea Terra for the entry level models, Linea Sol for the top-range versions and Linea Luna for the mid-range versions (I own a '00 Toyota Avensis Linea Luna). The Linea Luna is the rarest, as it was only made in 1999-2000.

These trim levels are for the 2nd gen. For the first gen there was GS, GL, SE, GLS, CDX, and SR for GB, and Linea Terra, Linea Luna and Linea Sol for the rest of Europe.
