1988 was the first year for the Eagle version but I do believe there was some Renault versions in 1987. |

My NADA lists Alliance as a Renault but the Eagle as an AMC. I do not believe Renault was involved in making the Eagle. |

Someone would say not enough to give it French origin. All Seats and Skodas are using VW parts (parts - entire platforms). |

The Premier was initially to be called the Renault Premier (mid-1988 production left the factory with Renault badging, and Eagle had to indicate this difference in its dealer information brochures and videos) in fitting with the other Renault products co-designed with and built by AMC for sale in North America-wikipedia So not France model origin. -- Last edit: 2010-04-05 20:39:30 |
