The interior of the car showing Thompson is of a 73-74 Chevy Impala, but I would say that interior is that of the 1973 Caprice convertible shown elsewhere in this movie. 1973 and up Caprice convertibles used an Impala vinyl interior because the Caprice door panels had cloth inserts which were not suitable for convertible applications. The smaller thumbnail is of a 71-72 Impala. Look closely and you'll see that the door panels are slightly different (the simulated wood strip is up higher on the door on a 73-74 and the ribbing is of a different style too. The colors are the same but that's about it. Also, on a 73 and up convertible, the rear interior side panels will also have a wood strip, which is shown missing in the 71 and 72 cars.
