Bedford chassis? (I think it has a Bedford Drivers Club badge) ABC Television Outside Broadcast Van edit: Possibly Bedford VAS? ABC Television 1955-1968 was part of Associated British Picture Corporation (ABPC) and had no connection with ABC (Associated Broadcasting Company) which became ATV. -- Last edit: 2009-08-04 10:03:05 |

Dinky did several models of both ABC and BBC outside broadcast unit trucks in late 1950s which may give some leads. |

Yes I remember them and researched the Dinky toys some time ago.![]() edit: source website will not be permanent http://www.tooveys.com/lots.asp?WEBLOTID=188516&LOTID=3001 Some claim them to be Commer/Karrier (Roving Eye), Bedford (Mobile Control Room) and Bedford S/RL (Extending Mast), but the Mobile Control Room could be the Morris-Commercial FE (by PYE of Cambridge). -- Last edit: 2011-12-12 20:05:00 |

Interesting page about the BBC Bedford/Dinky model here. Doesn't affect the ID here, but good info/pics for reference. |
