The clear parking lights (with amber bulb)came out in '70. Late 71-72 models had amber lens/clear bulb. |

Interesting. I had always thought all 1971's had amber lenses. What is your source for that being a mid-year change? |

I recall the marker light change from 1971 (dad purchased a 1972 new and as a kid I had to know every detail of every car he looked at). Saw it in print in "Little Black Book of Corvettes" or something similar sounding in the late 70's. Have not had much to do with them since early 80's. |

Hah, Larry's yellow Corvette!!! I watched "Bewitched" more casually than many other similar sitcoms, but of course the cars were always an attraction on this. And this car made such an indellible impression, my memory fooled me into thinking that this was his regular car. But of course Larry loses several years off his age, returns to that flaming red hair of his youth, and is going around town in this hot rod! As conservative as Larry was, I could still see a partner at McMahon and Tate driving this car. |
