Definitely a Coronet, not sure about the year. That lightbar is way too new for this car. |

Wouldn't be the first time Hollywood made that mistake. |

that lightbar looks like its a federal signal aerotwin which the nypd used during the 1980s there pretty rare now -- Last edit: 2009-02-07 02:07:54 |

Yes, you don't see too many like those. I've seen lightbars like this as far back as the late-1970's though, but only that far back. |

That looks like an Aerodynic lightbar, introduced sometime in 1978-1979 and one of the most, if not the most popular lightbar of the 80's. |

the aerodynic and aerotwinsonic were the same from the outside but from the inside they were a bit different the areodynic had 6 rotors and is still produced today the aerotwinsonic was first made in the early 1980s as an alternitive to the aerodynic and it had the same internals as a twinsonic which had 2 hologen rotors and there were slight variations such as the nypd version which had four flashing lights closer to the center of the bar here is a youtube link to an aerotwin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnaJRKEyZQ8 and to an aerodynic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1_xKrrBnEM |

It's a 74 for sure. This car needs a twinsonic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OD2bNCyvOw or a visibar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyBn7aZgN44 |
