"Polis" is part of the model name? |

no answer... And I would really like to know too, becuase that would mean Volvo actually sold a real Police-package version of this car. And that would be the only car (that I know of) that's not American and actually had a real factory police or taxi package offered |

They are registered as Police vehicles and I know that atleast SAAB make a special police version including harder springs and I think also a different radiator than the stock cars. |

What about this one, though? /vehicle_189613-Chevrolet-G-series-1985.html Unless that G-Series is also some type of "special police version," then why should it have "Polis" as part of the model name too? |

Do they still? On what model(s)? |

I was questioning whether "Polis" should be part of the model name based on the reasons atom gave for including it in (which was that the car was an actual vehicle built specifically for the police). If he's just putting it in because it's simply a police vehicle, then I'm not too sure I agree with that. |

SAAB 9-5, a friend told me that when he worked at the assembly line. Here's some more swedish police vehicles: /vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&makeMatch=2&make=&modelMatch=1&model=polis&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&modelInclExtra=on&page=1 |
