It's a Brazilian VW, based on the Typ 3, resp. a four-door-prototype of the Type 3, which was never produced in Germany. The prototype still exists in the AutoStadt Wolfsburg. About the exact name of this Brazilian VW I must ask a friend. He owns the only existing in Germany (a private import). |

Depends on the case... Some of the Typ3 that we have use as basis the mechanical/chassis, the body being completely different as far as I know, these can be considered as a true Brazilian car. This one looks different. If it is the 4-door German Typ 3 that was never made in Germany, maybe it can still be considered as having a German origin?
