I did not know if this class should be pick-up or convertible. Also, should these be listed as 'custom' or 'made for movie'? -- Last edit: 2007-11-16 01:11:33 |

Heavily customised Chevy pickup? |

Like the Chevrolet SSR... i'd list it as pickup. These two names are for unknown basis, or when no visible part of the original one subsists (i.e. when you cannot identify it visually but only because some document says "built on xyz chassis") |

Chevrolet, indeed. This baby was called "Stratford Baronet" in the movie. ![]() |

Appears to be C/K based. Judging by the headlights visible, I'm guessing it's based on an '88 or '89 model with the non-composite lights. |

this is an S-10 based vehicle. this is due to the steeper A-pillar and the height of the A-Pillar. in addition, the lock cylinder on a C/K is inside of the door handle, which is placed lower down on the door. the doors on a C/K are also more shaped. finally, the mirrors are significantly smaller on the S-10. judging by the length from the rear of the front door to the rear of the bed also adds to this theory that this is early 90's Chevy S10 based. |

A convertible stepside? Actually looks pretty damn cool. |

Stepside would indicate 1500 series. Any interior shots? Is there a floor shifter for the 4WD? |

The dash and steering wheel almost look like they came out of a Chevrolet passenger car, not a truck. ![]() |

From the other pictures, I agree from the proportions this is a highly customized S10. |
