Nancy Gribble: (handing her the brochure) Try a year's lease on a brand new Chevy Silverado LTK 1500 pickup truck with a supercab and 270 horsepower, 5.3 litre Vortec V8. Peggy Hill: I want that truck. Hank later tells his friends that Peggy wants to enter the beauty pageant so she can win the truck: Bill: That's a good-looking truck, Hank. There was no LTK trim level. Just "LT" and "LS". There was a "SS", but that was a performance package. Oh, and its at least a 1999 model. -- Last edit: 2007-09-26 23:32:38 |

It was maybe "LT K-1500" then? |

Well, not really as the "C" and "K" letters were dropped as of the 1999 model year, for the 1500 and 2500 models. |

It's quite rare that you'll hear that much information about a cartoon car. |

Colorados weren't made in 1999 dude! |

Wasn't 1999 the first year they started pushing the Gen III engines in trucks? I think in 97 or 98 they were still using the Vortec 5.7 (glorified first generation 350). With all of that description, I would say GM paid Mike Judge to advertise the new truck. |
