This should be a 4 star car because John drives it for the first half of the movie. |

He stops using it after that scene if I remember well. That scene is at 24 min of beginning, and the movie is a little more than 2 hours... that makes only first fifth of the movie. |

Back in '07 when the movie came out, there was a great video online where the foley artists took one of these cars out and recorded the engine and exhaust for the film. Basically, it was them doing 180's and just generally trashing the car. As I recall, they also crashed the car into something to create some of the crash sounds for the film. It was an awesome video, I wish I could find it again. One thing that struck me while watching the video, it seemed that they had modified the exhaust, because the car sounded a lot louder and meaner than a standard '99 Crown Vic. Interesting to note: This is a '99 but with an '01 and up grille and '01 and up hubcaps. |
