mmmmm!!! MGB with soft top was only built as chrome bumper model from 1962-67..sidelights are non original as the vehicle has been "pimped" and the front bumper has been repositioned higher than it originally would have been, obscuring the actual sidelight position which was below the headlight.from 1967 onwards the vehicle would have been designated the "MGC" with 3 litre 6 cylinder engine...so its an MGC rather than the MGB. |

I am not an MG expert but I thought the MGC had a big bulge on the bonnet(hood) to cover the more bulky six cylinder engine. |

Would bumper be higher because of US crash regs? |

The front valance with the two air holes identify a 1972-1974 car and by the triple windscreen wipers painted black, I would say it's a 1973 ( model year ) MG B. The grille is from an older car. |

I'd agree. I don't know anyone who would add side lights to an older model. But swapping the grille for an earlier version would be more plausible. |

What a perfect way to ruin an MG B (gold trim and wheel garbage... ) |

*almost pukes* (not just the car) |

This car is actually a 1980 model converted to an older grille |

Hi, I'm the actual owner of this car. That's an 1980 MGB slightly modified by Cinema Vehicules Inc. for the Movie. if some one want some more piece of information, just ask. I'm french so by the luck I don't understand some words like "pukes" and don't care about it. Owning a movie car is something special... and it is a very special car. |
