All the 'signature' "CA" cars were used pretty much right away, so that seems a little early to be a '77 model? HunterMan ◊ 2009-03-21 21:40	This is a 1977 model, I've looked at different years and there seemed to be differences between the 76 and 77 models. This car was driven by David Doyle ("John Bosley") in the show. It's a Forest Green 1977 Ford Thunderbird. UPDATE: Since I posted this back in 2009 I've discovered what the actual color of Bosley's T-Bird was--I only stated "Forest Green" as what I would call it, and not as an actual Ford color name at the time. Bosley's Thunderbird was Dark Jade Metallic. -- Last edit: 2014-01-05 05:24:57

It's of Kate Jackson ("Sabrina Duncan"), Jaclyn Smith ("Kelly Garrett"), and David Doyle ("John Bosley")--all standing/sitting next to or in Bosley's 77 Dark Green Thunderbird.

Later, perhaps towards the end of the 3rd Season or start of the 4th Season they updated to a 1979 Heritage Edition model. Both were a dark green color. However, I've looked into the actual color of 1977-1979 Ford Thunderbirds (aka Bosley's). I have not found any paint colors/codes for a 1977 or 1979 Ford Thunderbird called "Cadillac Green". From what I could find, Bosley's '77 and '79 T-Birds were Dark Jade Metallic (paint code 2725). -- Last edit: 2014-01-04 08:36:06

Exactly...and I've looked and I actually didn't find any GM and/or Cadillac colors called "Cadillac Green" either. In 1977 Cadillacs did come in some green colors, but those shades were somewhat different than Bosley's T-Bird. Cadillacs could come in Edinburgh Metallic Green, Seamist Green, and Thyme Green Firemist Metallic. None of these are the green that Thunderbirds of the same year were. The T-Birds (including Bosley's from "Charlie's Angels") were Dark Jade Metallic. -- Last edit: 2014-01-04 21:38:08

As for the thumbnail-clip from ahight for episode 3:03--I'm not a T-Bird expert so perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't think there was a '78 used on the show, and the thumbnail looks like the same car as the main pic, from episode 2:09. They started out with a 1977 model for Bosley (during first season) and as far as I know they did not update until 1979 (fourth season) for him. -- Last edit: 2014-03-03 19:44:18

Look at the photo by "ahight", the car shown has T-Bird badges on the headlight doors, and chrome trim around the headlight doors which makes it a '78.
