Amazing! |

Other idea would be an Unimog. |

Either Bedford RL or S-type I think. http://ccmv.fotopic.net/p25784430.html |

the cabin does look like BEDFORD but was there a short wheelbase version like this ? |
◊ 2014-02-11 13:19 |
Yes - at least as a tractor unit. |

well if the cabin looks close enough I guess it can be named Bedford unknwon and put in trucks section as said scene is at 24.55 in my link -- Last edit: 2014-02-11 13:21:58 |

I can see why people like the idea of an S-Type Bedford, but I'm old enough to remember them and to me the wheels are too big. Compare http://www.4x4offroads.com/1955-unimog-411.html |

and rear cabin window fits with that Unimog .. |

Got to wonder if this was worth posting as its so obscured , still it has created discussion I don't know is short answer . But I think Bedford R or S , maybe a shortened R series 4X4 special for snow plough duties. Too big for Haflinger Chris40 Unimog has some merit but cab shape shouts Bedford to me . If it is Bedford there maybe a headboard behind cab with a central opening , which obscures the three rear windows on a Bedford. What country is it ? -- Last edit: 2014-02-12 14:20:59 |

filmed in UK and Finland , see the scene yourself I posted link and time frame |
◊ 2014-02-12 14:31 |
There are other Bedfords in the film in Finland , so they seemed popular there, which sort of supports Bedford theory. |

Chris40's Unimog has the slight edge as the best potential identification after seeing the extra picture for me. Bedford still has some merit for shape but the snow deposits on the cab could be mistaken for the panel form I think. |

Agree , just watched film , wheels too big , track too narrow , ground clearance under rear axle too high for Bedford . So Unimog for me . -- Last edit: 2014-02-12 15:38:06 |
