If you look at the still, you can just about see a little window that is mostly covered by Rosalie's head (the redhead woman). I think it's likely to be some kind of Renault or maybe a Citroen, this bit was filmed in Paris and Renaults today have seen pretty unconventional designs, this is an odd looking car. -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 13:38:50 |

It could be a Peugeot 407 SW: Link to "eur.news1.yimg.com" The headrests of rear seats seem to match too. -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 14:02:59 |

3rd window, modern wiper, rounded roof, a Renault Grand Scénic for me |

Yes, it is more probable than a 407SW. |

Or maybe it's just a Scenic. That window must be pretty small if that woman's head covers up most of it, that probably wouldn't happen in a Grand Scenic. Yes, I think it's the Scenic rather than Grand Scenic. -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 15:30:59 |

From the inside the windows always look smaller than from the outside, as the pillar are not always visible (covered by a part of the window, or painted in black) Here is another pic of a woman head covering most of the Grand Scenic 3rd window ( ![]() |

That picture is taken from a completely different angle. It's definetely one of the two, but I still think it's just the regular Scenic. What's the point of the Grand Scenic anyway? Why not just buy an Espace? -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 15:40:15 |

Grand Scénic is 17 cm shorter than the Espace IV, maybe also a little cheaper. It has a 7-seater version, which the normal Scénic does not have. But both are bigger than the original Espace, which had an incredible space inside compared to its rather small outside size. -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 15:44:23 |

The Scenic is still smaller and different from the Espace ![]() Edit: you were fast Antoine -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 15:45:25 |

I watched the scene again, it's very hard to tell exactly, Rosalie's head bobs about in front of the window and you never see the whole outline. When I look at the rear window on the Grand Scenic, it seems hard to believe that someone's head could block it out, but then maybe from an outside perspective. |

Small cars just seem to be getting bigger and bigger. The new Peugeot 307 is massive (and a bit ungainly to be honest). It's hard to believe they could fit two seats in the back of the Grand Scenic. Some of these family cars seems to be designed for very specific (or narrow) market niches. -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 15:55:42 |

The 307 is a normal hatchback |

The two rear seats of the Grand Scénic 7-seater are for children rather than adults. And when you use these seats, your cannot add much behind these seats. -- Last edit: 2007-01-19 17:16:45 |

That's what I mean, if you really need a seven seater MPV, you'd want the Espace. |
