marsh ◊ 2007-03-06 18:53	When these Securicor vans came out of service in the late 60's to be replaced by Commers and the recently launched Ford Transit, there were strict instructions by Securicor that they were to be destroyed to avoid being bought by the criminal fraternity and stripped to discover their construction. Amazingly, one did escape the crusher and has been lovingly restored in the UK and can often be seen at classic car events.
