Left. On the right it is a Chevrolet Caprice. |

The Mercedes smashes into these cars. I think the producers must have rounded up the cheapest American cars they could find in Bulgaria. ![]() |

The Cimarron debuted in 1982 with the other J-Body GMs. This is an '84 because of the taillight design. What was Caddy thinking of trying to sell a $13k Cavalier (the Chevy cost $6k in '84)? |

These cars are just sitting in the road, waiting for someone to crash into them. ![]() |

That Cimarron was a joke, It was merely a Cavalier with an extra roll of toilet tissue in the doors. ![]() |

I like the style of the Cimarron of late 80s, e.g. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:1987_Cadillac_Cimarron.jpg |

Back then it was a joke but in the used car market you get alot of equipment for the price. I'd buy one. I was always a fan of the J-bodies... especially if it came equipped with a V6, which in 1984 I don't think the Cimarron did. |

I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole. I can't imagine all the electronics holding up, especially for a 20 year old GM product. |

if i found one that was owned by an old lady (which they usually were) with low miles and in decent condition I'd buy it. Just make sure you test everything before you buy. |

Qwerty, what was Infiniti doing selling a luxerized Sentra as the G20. Or Acura selling a luxerized Civic as the 1.7EL in Canada? I agree with you. On a side note someone in the Sacramento area is driving a 1.7EL with Calif. plates. It's a lightly disguised Civic in my opinion. |

I remember when Cadillac first introduced Cimarron with manual transmission, I thought this is the first time since the forties that they had manual transmission for the luxury cars! -- Last edit: 2009-10-16 05:17:48 |
