Then it's a fake number plate or a plate that not matches te car. It's this one: http://www.markeaton-cars.co.uk/white-corsa.htm In production from 1993-1997 or 1997-2000. |

The plate is linked to a Vauxhall, so it is funny that they put it on that car... |

Moui. -- Last edit: 2006-05-30 12:22:09 |

It is a 1993 Vauxhall Corsa as garco says, 5-door in this case. The 3-door rear lights our more rounded and intrude into the rear hatch. In 1987 it would have been the Vauxhall Nova - definitely not a Nova. This is not the number plate belonging to this vehicle. Also the engine size for the registration is 2000cc so it's more likely to be for a Cavalier or possibly an Astra. |

Its a 1993 Vauxhall Corsa 1.4L 5-door. After turning the image its easier to see the badging on the rear hatch. Without seeing the TV programme, maybe it's possible they used the real 1987 'E Registered' Vauxhall for another scene and then had to re-shoot part of it and the original vehicle was not available. -- Last edit: 2006-05-30 12:44:03 |

This is the vehicle the registration number came from. "Life on Mars" /vehicle_17961-Vauxhall-Cavalier-1987.html -- Last edit: 2006-06-05 20:08:20 |

Nice find ! |

absolutely, that they are both moviecars! |

Is it the same scene? Reshoot or something? |

"Life on Mars" was the original TV programme. The "Dead Ringers" programme is a comedy where impersonations are used throughout. Obviously in one episode of Dead Ringers they did their own version of a scene from "Life on Mars". They used the same number plate but the wrong type of car. |

but this seems was shhoted just before the original version of Life of Mars, isnt? |
