I'd suggest upgrading this and the other Star in a Reasonably Priced Car cars (Chevrolet Lacetti and Kia Ceed) to 5 stars, and 4 stars for the cars used for the big journeys/challenges that take up most or even the whole of an episode. Currently only a few cars have 4 stars. I originally posted this on the main page but it's such a big page to load it's probably easier to discuss this here. |

Yes to major challenge cars being 4![]() ![]() |

Cee'd is more than likely 4, Lacetti...maybe 5, probably 4, the most likely to be 5 would be the Liana, for it being the most recognized of the 3, and it's been in use longer than the other 2 (still used for F1 drivers). |

So you think these cars should have the same kind of role as Knight Rider or General Lee? These are not famous cars nor part of the series. 4-star rating is enough to me if they are recurring in a lot of "episodes". And 3 for the challenges. |

Well, they are because every episode (apart from specials) has a Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. And there's plenty of 5 star vehicles listed that aren't famous like the General Lee or KITT. -- Last edit: 2012-11-07 17:06:23 |

Still, to me these should not be listed as 5-star (we already have way too much vehicles listed with that rating) |

OK, then I think perhaps you should change the description for 5 stars to something like "Famous vehicle/used extensively throughout film" rather than "Vehicle is part of the movie" which is a bit vague (anything that's in a movie could be said to be part of the movie) |

Somebody has already changed most of the challenge cars to 4 before antp's comment, and is yet to change them back... |
◊ 2012-11-08 22:47 |
That was me, I didn't notice that he said the challenge cars should only be 3. But why? Some of them are used for a whole episode. |

But that's just one episode... usually for series 4-star is for cars used across many episodes by main characters |

But the cars used in Top Gear specials and challenges (even the cheap car challenges) probably get more screentime than a lot of other 4 star cars do, particularly ones in films. |
