Shelby GT 350 ? ( ou GT 500 )

well the paint job suggests a shelby gt 350H. the H stands for hertz as in the car rental company. these cars were literally race cars u could rent for the day and go racing and probably win. however i cannot make out any writing on this car to tell me if it is trully a shelby or just a nice paint job. by the way barret-jackson just sold a shelby gt 350H for about $160,000. so its very doubtful that a father of 2 that works on the docks in new york could afford such a car.

It's definitely got all the Shelby equipment, but it's likely a clone. GT350-Hs are VERY rare.

Ray drives a rare 1966 Shelby Mustang GT-350H, black with gold stripes. Only 200 were produced with that color scheme. High End Retail Value: $80,000. - IMDB

Anyone seen the new, remake 2006 Shelby (actually, it is a Ford, but called Shelby) Mustang GT-H? It is so awsome! It looks great (except when you stick it next to an origenal, and the remake looks fat and big).

Yes, i saw it on an advert for Hertz, what a car!

 There is no better perforamance coupe then a Mustang  . But, I think the new one is just "GT-H" and not GT-350H.

Yes, it is just GT-H

Ya, I thinks the best looking new 'Stang too. But the GT500 is pretty close.

Since they show a work-in-progress 302 in his kitchen it could be possible that Ray custom built the car to make it look like a GT350-H.

Actually Hertz purchased about 1000 G.T.350s. More than the half of them were black with gold stripes.

They cant really destroy it. Their lasers can drain humans of water compleatly and heat them to a level of inceneration. They have a disruptive affect on objects. They can push cars out of the way but they cant blow them up.

The car was a real Shelby 350H.No. 1886......in original condition. Original paint, original interior, original hoses, brakes, spark plugs..etc.etc..you get the picture. that car is a time machine......it was a Herts rental from Herts 40th street , manhattan......It is a survivor....and yes we did use that car worth so much $.Tom was easy with it.......signed by him and the director Steven Spielberg...........also signed by Caroll Shelby himself at the NY Auto Show, for the intro to the 2006 Herts Shelby. In 1966 Shelby make 1000 of these cars, in 2006 they made 500 as in 2007, 500 also. The diff in 2006/2007 was that the 2007 was a convertible.

I was looking at the clip posted by 93montero and thought i caught a picture of another car, resembling a late 60's mustange in Ray's garage. If you take the time to look at the the video stop at 0:17 and you will notice it. to me that makes sense on why there was a 302 sitting in his kitchen. but it also could be the reflection of the gt 350 of the garge. any thoughts?

I definitely noticed the other Mustang in the garage in this clip. It's only visible for a short time but I am quite sure it's a 60s Mustang.

Ray also had a bunch of Ford wallpapers in his house.

Dock workers get paid pretty well, actually. I don't find it too hard to believe, especially if he's careful with his money in other areas of his life.

dinogt350h wrote My father bought a 1966 GT350H in the August of 1966 brand new (6s574) at Hertz rental hub at San Francisco airport. Saw the movie in the winter of 66 with my dad and grandfather in Burlingame Hyatt theater,I was only 4 years old when I saw the movie and I still remember that car being in the movie because we drove from South San Francisco to the theater in that same car. Now here is where it gets weird, They only made 1001. They only made 85 4 speeds ours was a 4 speed, research is still out on how many of them had metal hoods, some historians say as many as 200, ours had a metal hood, most had traction bars ours had over riders making this particular shelby pretty rare on top of the fact they are rare cars to begin with. And I am talking like I don't have the car anymore but I do,my father gave it to me when I was 18 and I have it in my garage downstairs, I am a lucky guy!! My father claims we are the only original owner(black and gold) Shelby GT350H 4 speed owners in the world. Wow true story

I saw one in southern Indiana today. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was trying to think of what movie it was used in but it wasn't until searching on the site that I knew.
