With the help of the thumbnails it's possible to see it has bumpers with overiders. This detail combined with this front grille identify a 1960/61 car.

Take a close look at the car going over the cliff - it's a modified Sunbeam Alpine replacing the Aston Martin.

LHD. No trace now of 12 MM, but it was Middlesex Jan 61 to May 62 "allocated in blocks". Is the tax disc normal UK or something unusual?

Apart from being on the wrong side of the car, it certainly resembles a British tax disc as I recall it.

Irrespective of the position of the steering wheel, the theory was that the small print should be legible to a copper on the pavement. In U.K. of course this would mean on the left side of the windscreen as you sit in the car facing forward.
