Two S7s were used during filming, plus a buck used to make snow come out of the dash. The S7 shown here is chassis #03-017, a customer car which is normally yellow but was painted silver for the movie. In this scene here, ![[Image: s.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/34080/24/s.jpg) he's driving #03-016 which was the Saleen press car, and 016's plaque is shown in the film. The difference is the turn signal on the side behind the front wheel. 017 did not have that at the time, while 016 did. The 03 in the chassis code dictates the model year, which means it's a 2003 model. Contrary to popular belief, Jim Carrey did not own this car. -- Last edit: 2024-04-04 06:23:41 |

I guess you meant main pic/016 had no side turn signal light.. Posted September 2022: "...Chassis #03-017 For the Bruce Almighty film, two different chassis were used for filming. #03-016... Chassis 17, which was originally painted Speedlab Yellow, was sent to the paint booth and painted Speedlab Silver and used till 16 was ready.... and you can tell it apart from 16 by the side marker light behind the front wheel. Chassis 16, at the time, didn't have this side marker light at the time*.... Jim Carrey never owned a Saleen S7, I do get asked that often.
