Not a Dodge. Its a Chevy/GMC Blazer. The grill and headlights give it away. |

Jimmy? I thought that there were SUV and not pickups... |

They were SUV's, but you used to be able to take the roof off behind the b-pillar (much like the older Toyota 4-Runners), as has been done on this Blazer. |

Well, I haven't seen the movie, but based only on this picture, I'd be more likely to say a Blazer. I believe the Jimmy had a different grille (blacked out, with only two chrome bars). |

It couldn't be any newer than a 1975 because 1976 was when GM introduced Blazers with a steel roof over the front seats. |

Built by Unique Movie Cars of Las Vegas, which claims it's a 1977: http://www.uniquemoviecarslasvegas.com/photos.php Of course, they get the years wrong on a couple of their cars...that could be the case here, or perhaps the roof was just cut off? |

It's more likely a 1975, especially considering how it doesn't have the 1977 grille. |

Windshield and doors appear factory, not a hack-job. The 1976 model year gained the new half-length steel cab with full doors. Oddly the offset front differential appears absent. Either it’s just a optical illusion or the Blazer is really a lifted two-wheel drive, or perhaps the factory front live axle has been replaced by a custom spool type front end. |
