Is that Mark 3 Astra I don't think they had a box boot until the mark 4? |

4 door booted Astra was launched in Jan 1986 Mk2 phase as Vauxhall Belmont, then became Astra Belmont in Jan 89 minor facelift. Then Mk3 new Astra range in Oct 91, Belmont name dropped, leaving the 4 door just a normal Astra. Didn't sell well - several were dumped into lease and rental fleets. Same story with booted Escort Mk3 - launched as Orion, name continued for a few years thru Mk4 and Mk5 Escort generations, then dropped in Sept 93 to leave 4 door as plain Escort. We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided VAUXHALL ASTRA GLS I 1993 Registration number: K268MMH Body type: 4 Door Saloon Colour: Grey Date of first registration: February 1993 Cylinder capacity 1598 cc ✗ Untaxed Tax due: 1 October 2005 |
