True. Interesting observation, though. The car has painted headlamp rims like a Champion Custom, yet has a hood ornament which Champions Customs did not have. |

...not easy to make the difference except by the engine, more powerfull on the Commander. this website Link to "www.carjager.com" tells us : "The Commander tops the range with a V8, while the Champion is below it with a "modest" six-cylinder. Two body configurations are offered: Starlight, recognizable by its separation pillar between the door and the rear window, and Starliner, without this pillar" |

fred1969, there are subtle differences depending on trim. Also, all Commander models had a V-8 emblem on the trunk lid. |
