I don’t think that this is an Austin. If British it might be a Humber Pullman, but not sure. |

I'd swear on video it looked like an Austin A70 Hampshire |

Hampshire works for me much better than Humber. |

I would say Hampshire. |

You are all looking at the front, not the back! It seems too long. -- Last edit: 2021-09-15 08:28:46 |

Perhaps a longshot, but how about a Lea Francis 14/70 6-light saloon http://classiccars.brightwells.com/viewdetails.php?id=4680 Link to "en.wikipedia.org" ? |

Total production 162. A very long shot! |

Anyway, I’ve now got this up on my 42” tv screen, and, although not totally happy, A70 Hampshire seems to match enough bits. |

That a car is rare is no problem. As there're so many rare models around, chance is that sooner or later one do come across a rare model. I only thought about the Hereford when I read A70, and forgot about the Hampshire. I'm ashamed as I do have a brouchure of the Hampshire at home... |

I know that there was a Leaf 14 in LA, but the chances of a 14/70 making it to HK do seem somewhat remote! /vehicle_292815-Lea-Francis-14hp-1954.html -- Last edit: 2021-09-17 09:36:42 |
