No, but probably a Brit thing popular for most of 20th century on posh things (eg also Jag, Daimler, Aston Martin, Lagonda, Alvis etc) and/or for coachbuilds. They're usually the less sporty/racey open versions - the gentlemen's tourers if you like - example Jag XK120-150 families had 2-seater roadsters and 2/4 seater DHCs with more formal hood and fixed windows. |
