This is an Alexander RH bodied Leyland Olympian. Apparently, according to wikipedia, 906 Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian were delivered to Kowloon Motor Bus in Hong Kong between 1981 and 1993. The Volvo Olympian look much the same but has different front wheels. I don't know how to categorize this as the origin of the chassis is definitely England, but the headquarters of Walter Alexander was in Falkirk, Scotland, with assembly plants widely spread. |

It can also be a Volvo Olympian. http://www.gakei.com/cv0/cv0.htm I see some of them had the same four air vents on the rear side as the Leylands. http://www.gakei.com/cla/clae.htm |

No, in Citybus, Volvo Olympian with single door has short-version and 12m version, but no 11m version. Short-version: http://www.gakei.com/cv1/c0244.jpg Long Version: http://www.gakei.com/cv1/c0315.jpg The picture shows the 11m Olympian, so it's Leyland Olympian: http://www.gakei.com/cla/cl125.jpg |
