This episode is from 2008 featuring Recycled Paper, the Thames Barrier & Glass.
As the IMDB hasn't got anything listed after series two in 2006, i've listed the episode number as 2008.

The Channel 5 (UK) series is in series 1 currently.

It's narrated by Robert Llewellyn produced by WagTV and is a re-make of a Discovery Channel series (listed on IMDb) using old and re-shot film footage. As such the episodes appear to be rather different.

1 "excavators, London's sewers, tyres" January 10, 2008
2 "salt mine, hovercraft, trainers" January 17, 2008
3 "lightbulbs, demolition with explosives, giant cranes" January 24, 2008
4 "cold war military recycling, perfect martini, plasma TVs" January 31, 2008
5 "fibre optics, movements of goods, zips" February 4, 2008
6 "fireworks, limestone, rail tracks" February 11, 2008
7 "pencils, pilot a cargo ship, golfballs" February 18, 2008
8 "thames barrier, newspaper recycling, glassmaking" February 25, 2008
9 "high speed racing boat, mobile phones, kugira" March 3, 2008
10 "recycling, self winding watchs, flat pack tanker"

Whilst its a bit cheesy in presentation I find it has some extremely interesting stuff about things we normally take for granted. Well worth seeing.

I thought it was part of the same series due to the same director Chris Lent

Programme details as here for both Discovery and Channel 5 series.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_Do_They_Do_It%3F#Episode_list

I considered getting screen captures for this series but didn't do it in the end. Instead I started to add to "Ice Road Truckers" (which I find a lot less interesting). Ice Road Truckers also appears to be a re-mixed series in the UK with a new narration although the episode numbering is the same I think some small scenes are deleted.
