are there any chases? |
◊ 2006-10-26 23:26 |
No, only crash(Mercury and Plymouth). |

Does not surpise me, many American shows are cancelled very early on. |

You mean the Road Runner gets wrecked? Nooooooooo! |
◊ 2006-10-28 00:19 |
Wrecked is a bit of a stretch, it's a solidly enough built car that it has to be repairable. Still, whoever made this show is walking on thin ice, between harming the Plymouth and choosing to play the Killers. |

Bummer. This is one of the best shows on TV right now. I love the way the story unfolds...you never see a command center or a big screen showing exactly how bad the devastation is. You're just stuck knowing no more than the people in the town do. |

Jericho will have a hiatus after Nov. 29, but will be back in Feb, 07. They're doing a "Lost" sort of split... |

Even though Jericho was officially cancelled some time ago, a large fan outcry convinced the CBS executives to grant the show seven more episodes. If those episodes do well in the ratings, a full second season will be in order. |

Yeah, that's the reason why the show is so great. That fact that major cities get destroyed but you never see the devastation. |

There was a Thomas ER school bus in an early episode where I think they blow up a mine or something. (not the 76 Intl/Wayne listed here, which I actually mis-listed a while ago as a S-1500, should just say Loadstar.) |

and there was also a chase between Jeep Gladiator and Chevrolet Silverado I'm not sure if theese are already listed or not: other 1-star cars: with focus on Mustang Chevrolet Corvette [C4] plane: -- Last edit: 2012-02-28 01:30:51 |

Most recent-model civilian vehicles were disabled by an electromagnetic pulse early in the first season. Is it true that diesels would be less vulnerable to an EMP? |
◊ 2013-01-11 04:33 |
Some of these vehicles would be too new to survive an electromagnetic pulse. According to the paranoid-survivalist bible How To Survive The End of The World as We Know It (2009) "By 1976 or 1977, virtually all gas-engine cars coming out of Detroit had electronic ignitions. Trucks all transitioned to electronic ignitions by 1978." Of course, some later designs might be converted back to ignitions without microcircuits. |
