So many cars in the traffic scenes have roof racks - a fashion accessory in 1980? |

Back then, in the times, where every car had a real gutter, you could use one roof rack for a plenty of cars. Today you have to by a specific rack for ever car. And back then the higher fuel consumption due these racks wasn't a reason for discussing. Unfortunately I cannot find the 1980ies "Der 7.Sinn"-crashes with them Only this clip (special for walter): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPnGVYCQ4_I The reason of this test was "Does the driveable beer-box survive the flip-over of the car, where it's mounted on?" A question, which everyone of us has asked himself before. |
