PacificaBren wrote I came her to say I believe Sandie is correct in her belief that the car Melody Anderson drives in the Battlestar Galactica episode, "Experiment in Terra," is a 1974-1979 Ferrari 308 GT4.

First, let's look at the shape of the B-pillar in interior views of the car:

If you do a Google image search for "Ferrari 308GT4 interior," most of the results will be views facing front, revealing the steering wheel, front seats, etc. But I did find this view facing toward the rear of the car, and the B-pillar appears to be a close match to the car in question:

Next, let's have another look at that moment when Richard Hatch places his hand on the car's windshield and leans in to talk to Melody Anderson. Pay close attention to the location and direction of the windshield wipers and to the rectangular indentation in the hood:

Compare this to the windshield wipers and rectangular indentation on the hood of a Ferrari 308 GT4, and I think he have a match!

For those who are not familiar with the Ferrari 308 GT4, it is a very neat and interesting car. It should not be mistaken for the Ferrari 308 GTS driven by Tom Selleck in Magnum P.I. The 308 GT4 was a four-seat sports car, while Magnum P.I.'s 308 GTS was a two-seater. The two models were related, but they shared no body panels.
