In the 2000 remake (that I liked) there were more cars /movie_162650-Shaft.html and still good music  I did not see the original movie, by the way |

He caught only taxis in this movie, bad start for Shaft. All the other Private Investigators show always had the their car in the first case.  But other 2 movie following he had a car, In the 7 episodes he must had driven a 73 Dodge Charger. Which isn't in this web.  -- Last edit: 2009-01-17 11:37:06 |

I'm about a year late, but it's a 1970 Plymouth intermediate - Satellite, Road Runner, or GTX. It's been modified with a beefed up rear end and a non-standard paint scheme, so I can't be certain what exact model it started out as. |
