That. Looks. So. Cheap.

Usually, Belgium is used as a stand-in for France or Germany or whatever, because it's cheaper to film there. But this thing is supposed to be set in Belgium, and yet it was shot in Bulgaria ! I can't believe the RTBF (public broadcaster) coproduced this.

And moreover this scene is clearly an US footage with apparently no sense... I set the two fire trucks as [*][*] because they are supposed to be involved in the scene, but they should be maybe considered as backgrounds...

Strange, usually French and Belgian productions do very well-made works

I just watched the trailer, and the Belgian firefighters are wearing old British uniforms with "FIRE" written in English on the back. :)

One of the producers is Phillip J. Roth from UFO International Productions, the other B-movie factory in Bulgaria.

Does RTBF usually make high quality entertainment? Name a few things.

Uhhhhhhh... I haven't seen their recent series, so I can't really have a valid opinion on that. Plus I mostly watch the BBC and I've been spoiled for choice this past year. :)

However, a few months ago, I noticed the RTBF was airing a TV-movie from "The Asylum", so it looks like they're desperate to fill their three channels' airtime. But there's a difference between showing crappy movies and co-producing them !

I don't really keep up with the latest tv. I may give Ozark a chance.

Speaking of Belgians and Bulgaria, Jean-Claude Van Damme's latest film is set in Washington DC but was filmed in Bulgaria. Here's a car chase clip in which an EU-spec Cadillac Seville drives past a Ford Fiesta Mk IV and a Renault Clio, twice. :)
