AKA - The Vancouver Asahi

Based on the Vancouver-based baseball team Asahi which existed until the internment of the Nikkei.

Despite the BC setting, most of the scenes seem to have been filmed in at a set in Ashikaga, Japan... No Canadian companies are credited for lending their cars. Unfortunately, the two Japanese companies listed have no open list for cross-checking.
