de Georges Lacombe, d'après un roman de Georges Simenon.

L'histoire est un chouïa confuse mais Charles Granval en méchant est excellent et surprenant, Micheline Francey bien mignonne et Raimu fait un de ses grands numéros (un peu trop "numéro", d'ailleurs, cette fois, mais enfin, ça reste du Raimu, donc cent coudées au-dessus d'un Fernandel moyen).

Question motorisation, c'est intéressant… et ça le serait d'autant mieux si je pouvais présenter des photos impeccables. Hélas…

Mediocre pictures for a good movie based on a Simenon's novel and dominated by the gigantic stature of Raimu, the greatest of them all.
