@Ingo: I apologise for not having seen the message and answered it on time  . I know that higher rank officers both from the police and State Security (UDBA, now BIA) drove Mercedes-Benz W115, but those were rare (a couple of dozens, I think). This is the first time I hear about VW K70, but I know some people who were in the force at the time and I'll ask them. |

No problem. .gif ";)") I know the owner of the last K 70 in Macedonia (a yellow 1974 standard version), and he told me, that his father was a high officer in the Yugoslavian police and had it as an official car. When he retired, he could take the car home for private use. |
