 Stated to have been broadcasted on 17th of October 1993, but the presence of the Pajero registered 18th of April 1994 makes it impossible.

Even states 1993 in the credits. My guess would be that the Pajero was a brand-new made in 1993 for the 1994 model year, having received a late 1993/early 1994 registration, but not yet registered with a private owner.

 Yes, a very early 1994, kept at the dealer for a while. Not unusual back then as the buyer still would be listed as the first owner of the car. Some dealers even had their own stack of number plates, for their new vehicles.

 It would have been sitting at the lot for a while. :think: I got my brand new 2007 Chevrolet Aveo (build on February 2007) on January 2008 while it has been sitting at the dealer's lot.
