This color travelogue style film from the early 1970s titled “Schley Ride to Hawaii” was produced by Norman E. Schley. Schley was a skilled filmmaker from Wisconsin who made a series of amateur films under the moniker "Schley Ride" or “Schley Focus Ride” through his company Picturelogue Inc. Some of his films aired on television, while others were shown in front of live audiences. The film has four parts plus a fifth made of excerpts or trims from the previous footage.

Delivered to Matson Line in 1932 named SS Monterey.
Renamed SS MATSONIA for the same company in 1956.
Renamed SS LURLINE for the same company in 1963. Replacement of her sister ship SS LURLINE Built in 1932, sold in 1963 to Chandris Lines to be rechristened ELLINIS.
Sold to Chandris Lines in 1970, named BRITANIS with some many retrofit.
Sold to Belofin Investments AG in 1998, renamed BELOFIN-1.
Sunk off Cape Town on the way to India for scrapping in 2000.

Delivered to Maritime Commission in 1948 named SS PRESIDENT WILSON, bareboat chartered to American President Lines (APL).
Sold to Orient Overseas Line in 1973, renamed ORIENTAL EMPRESS.
Withdrawn in 1975. Remained laid up at anchor until taken to Kaohsiung, Taiwan for scrap in May 1984.
