i think that a three part movie is called miniseries ![]() |

Indeed, it is "miniseries" rather than "tv-movie" using IMDB naming. But IMDB itself is not very logical, as this one is also 3-part but listed as "tv-movie" by IMDB ! -- Last edit: 2007-03-26 17:13:26 |

no miniseries is a series with (many) very small (20-35 minutes) episodes. A 'three part movie' its a very big TV-movie (~230 minutes). One movie, one complete story and no different episodes. In germany we have a lot of this. -- Last edit: 2007-04-02 11:11:50 |

A series with episodes between 20 and 35 minutes it is not a miniseries... a three part movie IS a miniseries, every time a three or even two part movie is announced on TV in Spain they always call it miniseries, perhaps it is different for your country. |

A very long play movie (230min) can`t be a mini.. series |

According to IMDB terms, a miniseries is a TV movie splitted in 2 to 6 parts, or something like that. But as those that you listed are not all listed as miniseries on IMDB, it is maybe better to list it as TV-movie. Anyway that does not change much for us. |
