"Fundraising NSPCC film showing underprivileged children on a trip to the seaside." Some rare footage of the old Snow Hill station in Birmingham, and lots of choo-choo trains. Most road vehicles are background and unremarkable. 1958 A35 Van (from plate) and A55 Cambridge (WJW plate = late 61 so very late): - Wolseley 1500 behind will get own page as other views. 60-61 plate ALW Thames 10cwt Personnel carrier: A35 2 door and A40 Devon Countryman Coach with flashy body (no other view) |

WJW is Wolverhampton Borough June to August 1958, so unlikely. What about WUW London issue, Feb 1959 to July 1960? Also, A40 Devon Countryman doesn't look quite right, although I'm not certain what it is yet. -- Last edit: 2014-07-25 08:05:05 |

Some footage from this film was reused in Coast Series 10 ep1, broadcast 9 July 2015 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4537598/?ref_=ttep_ep1 - in a feature where they took 3 women (who had been girls in the original) back to Weston for their memories of the trip. |

"Coach with flashy body" Looks like Yeates Europa coachwork, no clue available from picture about the chassis. |
