Tommy Pickles' Parents, Stu and Didi, drive a Citroen DS or at least a car that's close enough to look like one. |

Angelica also drove a toy BMW. |

Im pretty sure Stu drove a blue Toyota Previa in the early episodes, but it had 4 rows of seats and could seat 11 people. |

Where's the 1990 Toyota Previa? -- Last edit: 2011-06-10 21:04:39 |

That 'BMW 5-Series' should be put in the comments, it's too generic. |

here is Grandpa, Stew, and Didi's Toyota previa which they also owned in blue, and in yellow. Drew also drove a previa in blue Charlotte drove a green BMW in season 4-last season I am almost certain it is a 5 series. because my mom had one around the same time and they look similar, and the front is lower than the trunk which was only on the 5 series. Here she is seen in "mommys little assets" driving a red convertible that looks like Angelica's toy BMW. and here is angelica's toy car |

I say no to the Cadillac limo, first 2 Chevy Bel Airs, both Camaros, Chevy pickup, Ford Excursion limo, Ford E350 schoolbus, Volvo 240 and the 2 unknown cars look generic to me. By the way Opal, you must put spaces between the thumbnails so the page doesn't stretch out sideways like this. -- Last edit: 2012-10-08 01:24:09 |

Don't you think those are poor drawn? |
◊ 2012-10-08 14:17 |
Actually he should simply not remove the space that is automatically added to the code when the picture is uploaded (I did that so people do not have to manually add one). What browser do you use to have page stretch problems? |
◊ 2012-10-08 14:21 |
When I meant "stretch" I meant you have to scroll sideways to see them all and also the date & icons under people's usernames get jumbled about. -- Last edit: 2012-10-08 14:22:45 |

I understood that, but I do not have that problem in any browser here (Firefox, Chrome, IE 9). Maybe an older IE version? -- Last edit: 2012-10-08 14:23:52 |

I think I'm on IE8. Maybe I'll upgrade to IE9. @rjluna2: Yes, I was thinking of that last night -- Last edit: 2012-10-08 14:29:24 |

Maybe I should check on the machine with IE9-64 bit. |

My IE8 is not extending to the right of the windows. |

Good enough to be list? Ford Excursion Limo/Ford E-Seies?, Ep. 8.16-17 1995 Ford E350, Ep. 7.14-15 Porsche 356, Ep. 6.13 Willy's MB 'Jeep', Ep. 6.11 BMW, Ep. 2.23 Station Wagon, Ep. 2.09 Rolls-Royce Limo, Ep. 3.16 Poor drawn 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, Ep. 3.04 -- Last edit: 2020-12-10 20:48:13 |

"1955 Ford thunderbird, Ep. 7.13" Not a '55, but a 1958-1960. It has 1959 side trim and 1960 taillights. "1956 Chevrolet Bel Air, Ep. 7.13" Actually a 1954 Pontiac, though the dashboard is something different. |

I noticed that Didi owns a black (what looks to be like a Chrysler) station wagon, but this car changes to a Volvo 240 wagon in the Grand Canyon episode. -- Last edit: 2015-01-05 23:18:22 |

There is an episode called "Submarine" centered around Stu buying the yellow van from a used car dealer called Looney Larry's. Stu refers to the van as a Pastorelli, an Italian-built minivan with a 300hp horsepower engine. |

As far as the Pickles' cars go, I think it's easy to confirm that Stu's car is a Citroen DS, Didi drove a Volvo 240 DL wagon early in the series, and Lou Pickles appears to have a Chrysler station wagon of some sorts, although it's hard to tell which model. |

The black and white police car parked by the pushcart vendor argues for a European marque. No Ford, Chevy, or Dodge police package in recent memory used yellow turn signals. The Type III ambulance, in background, following the station wagon, is probably a Ford E-350. Chuckie is riding shotgun in what appears to be a red BMC Mini Moke. |

Stu drives a 1971 Citroen DS, according to "Rugrats Wiki": "Stu drives a blue Citroen DS. It is more than likely a gray market 1971 DS23 due to the fact that it seems to have an automatic transmission (due to the fact that Didi is seen driving the car, but states in one episode that she can't drive a stick shift) and air-conditioning (It is never explicitly stated that the car has A/C, but considering that the family lives in Southern California, Stu probably wouldn't be driving two infants around in a car without A/C). The Citroen DS is a perfect vehicle for a quirky inventor like Stu Pickles, because the car itself has many quirky and advanced technological features that would impress someone like him." Here is a video tour of a 1975 model (I love the steering wheel and the analog clock): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLkhPu5GOcM Didi drives a Volvo 765 station wagon (green-colored, but sort of "mint" colored in the Grand Canyon episode where it gets the most screen-time). It's hard to pin what year it would be, but it would have to be between 1982-1990 as these are the years where a V6 was offered and the Volvo is shown to have a V6 in the Grand Canyon episode when the car is in the mechanic garage. It's hard to find a decent video of a 760 wagon, but here's a video of a 1988 model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq2vxAXDw8s Lou drives what appears to be a Chrysler station wagon even though "Rugrats Wiki" claims it to be a Ford Country Squire here: "He drives a green 1970s wood-paneled station wagon that resembles a 1971-1974 Ford Country Squire. In "Submarine", he claims to have owned it since Stu was 15 years old and more than likely bought it new. Stu was born in late 1958, which would make the station wagon a 1973 or 1974 model. Lou's car has a vanity license plate that says "OLDTIMR," which means "Old Timer." In another episode, the license plate says "IM OLD." In the episode "No Bones About It", Lou drives his wagon and a very Chrysler-looking logo hood ornament can be seen. If that's the case, then it may be a 1973 or 1974 Chrysler Town & Country wagon like the one shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M294bQZUaW0 Lou's car honestly looks more like a 1978-1981 model to me, but even then, the Chrysler "Pentastar" logo hadn't been introduced yet, so it's probably just an animation mix-up. |
