It looks like a 1945-48 12/14HP
but when was it supposed to be?
I guess post war because the head lights were not wearing the air raid covers

changed my mind
this car was pre war Stadard Flying something, too big to be an 8, too small to be a 12, perhaps a Standard Flying 10? any side views?

Definitely Flying Eight 1939-1948 or the earlier Flying Nine 1937-1940. Identical as a saloon except for engine size.

actually this is a 1939 standard flying 8 , originaly owned by rafeal sabbatini the author of captin blood .i know all this because its me mums car reg fkx 821 owned since 1981
