The tiny chrome strip beneath the bumper was only used the first MY's, that is from 1968 on. Two versions were made: - 1968-73 Mercedes-Benz 220 D Lang [W 115]. - 1969-73 Mercedes-Benz 230 Lang [W 114] http://wiki.mercedes-benz-classic.com/index.php/Kategorie:W114/W115 . If sure it's a [W 114], as stated, it can only be the second alternative. Is it possible to here that it's a petrol engine?
